PLA Filament

PLA is the go-to material in 3D Printing. The original, the best and the most popular material for 3D printing due to its ease of printing on all 3D printers.

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a Polyester made from plant starches so, compared with petrochemical plastics, it's easier on the environment. It also has the distinct advantage that it degrades into non-toxic components when composted.

PLA has great properties for general-purpose printing and prototyping. Sure, it doesn't have the mechanical and thermal properties of some other materials but for 99% of applications it's good to go and makes superb prints.

Our PLA is original virgin polmer with only PLA-based colourants, no adulterants here.

Our filament is made in 1.75mm and 2.85mm diameters in a range of colours and spool types. Best of all it's British - made here in sunny Cornwall.
