3D Filament is generally available in two sizes - 1.75mm and 2.85mm. You can see our selection by clicking the links below.

Why the difference?
Different printer brands generally plump for one or the other. You can buy kits to adapt your printer to the alternative size, but this might be a job for the enthusiast. Remember your printer and your slicing software are very dependant on the correct size filament made to the correct tolerance.

Do you not make 3mm?
In the early days the larger size was often referred to as 3mm, but most that were supplied were actually 2.85mm. This was so the filament ran smoothly down the bowden tube on some printers.

What size should I buy?
You should refer to the instructions that came with your machine.
